Customer acknowledges and agrees that Trend Transport LLC is hereby authorized to arrange shipment from the point of origin to the point of destination as specified in the Order form.
Customer is responsible for preparing the vehicle for shipment. All loose parts, batteries, fragile or protruding accessories, fog lights, low hanging spoilers, antennas, etc, must be removed or retracted and properly secured. Trend Transport LLC or the motor carriers are not responsible for any part of the vehicle that might fall off during transport. Customer is also responsible for deactivating any alarm system and must provide necessary keys or remotes for said items.
Customer must remove all personal items from the vehicle. Trend Transport LLC is not responsible for personal goods placed in the vehicle, or any damages they may cause.
It is customer’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle(s) is in proper running order. If the vehicle(s) is inoperable and not disclosed at the time of booking there will be an additional fee to be paid at delivery.
There will be a pick up and delivery inspection done by both the car carrier and the responsible shipper. Damage must be notated on the bill of lading and signed by both the carrier and customer. This must be done regardless of the weather, time of day, or dirt on vehicle. Signing the bill of lading without a notation of damage verifies that the vehicle has been received in good condition and Trend Transport LLC and the motor carrier are relieved of any further responsibility. Vehicle(s) must be checked thoroughly.
Trend Transport LLC or its carriers will not be responsible for “Acts of God” (fire, floods, tornado, earthquakes, sandstorms or hail storms), damage due to flying objects from the sky or road during transport or any form of vandalism. The customer must maintain insurance for this purpose.
Customer acknowledges and agrees that Trend Transport LLC does not guarantee pick up or delivery on specific dates of shipment. Trend Transport LLC will make good faith attempt to move the vehicle as promptly as possible and in accordance with customer’s instructions. All pick up and delivery dates are estimates and Trend Transport LLC is not responsible for car rentals, hotel stays, airline tickets, etc resulting from delay.
All transport services are door to door unless specified in the order form due to hardship in accessing the pick up or delivery location. Arrangements will be made for you to meet at a nearby safe and legal location with ample loading space.
Customer has the option to cancel anytime prior to the vehicle being assigned to a carrier, at no cost to the customer. If the vehicle has been assigned to a carrier Trend Transport LLC has the right to charge the customer a fee in the amount of no less than two hundred dollars for partial services rendered.
Any legal action against Trend Transport LLC must be filed in Harris County in the state of Texas. By executing this agreement, customer waives any and all rights to litigate elsewhere. The prevailing party in any litigation initiated under this agreement shall be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs incurred.
